Centre Manager
Young Academics, located in the heart of Hoxton Park, is seeking a passionate Centre Manager to lead our team and provide exceptional care and learning experiences to children & their families.
Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with 50 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead our vibrant Hoxton Park centre.
About the Role:
As a Centre Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent delivery of the highest standards to ensure the operational requirements of the service are maintained. This role holds an influential position within the service, accountable for business, relationship and financial success aligned with our values.
You will lead the team in creating meaningful learning experiences and environments that reflect best practice and align with our service philosophy. As a service, compliance and child safety remain our highest priority, and you will be expected to uphold our child-safe practices in all aspects of your role. You will also collaborate with the team to build strong, respectful partnerships with children, families and the wider community, fostering a supportive environment that enhances children’s wellbeing, confidence, and lifelong love of learning.
This position is a full-time role - Monday to Friday between 6:30 am - 6 pm.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing team.
Ensure compliance with regulations is met and maintain high operational standards.
Build strong partnerships with families and the local community.
Manage budgets, occupancy, rostering, and administrative tasks efficiently to optimise the centre's performance.
Work in a stimulating, contemporary environment equipped with the latest resources.
Demonstrate attention to detail in keeping accurate records & evaluating programs.
Guide processes and systems within the centre, adhering to the ECA Code of Ethics, specifically experience with OWNA or willingness to learn.
Overseeing day-to-day centre operations, enrolments, and resource management.
Drive continuous improvement through reflective practice and innovation.
Supporting professional development and mentoring your team.
About you:
Advocate for Early Childhood and Care
Bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Care or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care from a nationally approved registered training organisation.
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Valid Employee Working with Children Check
Minimum of 2 years' experience leading and managing an Early Learning Centre.
