Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 50 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators & Teachers to join our vibrant Cranebrook Service.

About the Role

As an Early Childhood Educator or Teacher at Young Academics, you will create meaningful learning experiences and environments that reflect best practice and align with our service philosophy. As a service, compliance and child safety remain our highest priority, and you will be expected to uphold our child-safe practices in all aspects of your role. You will also collaborate with fellow educators to build strong, respectful partnerships with children, families and the wider community, fostering a supportive environment that enhances children’s wellbeing, confidence, and lifelong love of learning.

- Full-time role - Monday to Friday between 6:30 am - 6 pm (rotating roster).

- Part-time role- Monday to Friday 10am-3pm
  
Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a rich, engaging, and inclusive educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.

• Support the team of educators & teachers through intentional teaching, collaboration, and reflective practice.

• Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and the team.

• Follow Centre Policies & Procedures and the ECA Code of Ethics, maintaining exemplary records and conducting comprehensive program evaluations

• Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, healthy environment that supports the well-being of children, staff, and stakeholders

• Ensure ongoing compliance with the National Quality Framework, including laws, regulations, and quality standards.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre through active participation in our Quality Improvement Plan.

• Use your voice to advocate for children, families, and the profession, enhancing our service’s professional identity.

About you

• Bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Care, or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care from a nationally approved registered training organisation

• Demonstrated knowledge and application of the National Quality Framework

• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (Preferred)

• Valid Employee Working with Children Check (Paid)

• Commitment to upholding a Child Safe Organisation and inclusive practices

At Young Academics, we prioritise children's safety and wellbeing. Our values, actions and decisions are guided by our genuine commitment to upholding the rights, interests, needs and voices of children in our care. You will be required to provide a minimum of two professional referees as part of the recruitment process. Young Academics conducts reference checks, will verify that you hold a valid WWCC for paid work, and confirms that you do not have any prohibition or statutory notices against you.
