About the Role
As an Early Childhood Educator or Trainee at Young Academics, you will create meaningful learning experiences and environments that reflect best practice and are aligned with our service philosophy. You will support fellow educators to build strong partnerships with children, families, and the community.
Positions available:
Diploma Educator - full-time, Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:30 am and 6 pm
Trainee - full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract. Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:30 am and 6 pm
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver a rich, engaging, and inclusive educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
Support the team of educators & teachers through intentional teaching, collaboration, and reflective practice
Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and the team
Follow Centre Policies & Procedures and the ECA Code of Ethics, maintaining exemplary records and conducting comprehensive program evaluations
Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, healthy environment that supports the well-being of children, staff, and stakeholders
Ensure ongoing compliance with the National Quality Framework, including laws, regulations, and quality standards
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre through active participation in our Quality Improvement Plan
Use your voice to advocate for children, families, and the profession, enhancing our service’s professional identity
About you
Bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Care, or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or Certificate III in Early Childhood and Care from a nationally approved registered training organisation
Demonstrated knowledge and application of the National Quality Framework
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (Preferred)
Valid Employee Working with Children Check (Paid)
